Orange knowledge programme Nuffic  scholarship at Dutch Universities in Netherlands, is a 5 years programme initiated and funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherlands Government and managed by Nuffic, for 31 countries. To encourage   exceptional individuals, mid-career professionals from low income countries and to establish good Societal development in low income countries.

The aim and purpose of Orange knowledge programme Nuffic  scholarship is to fund individuals and mid-career professionals on tertiary, vocational and job-related programme  in the  economics of their country, this individual must be living and working in any nationals of low income listed in the link below. Each country may have different specific criteria so as to suite the Dutch university Netherland.

Scholarship value

Orange knowledge scholarship seals all costs of living ,tuitions fees, visa, thesis research and security and scholarship holder  continue to receive grant/salary  during the scholarship period. About € 700* to € 1.350* for visa depending on the country, is arrange by the UM international Service Desk, € 32* per day in the Netherland is paid to student by the UM international Service Desk.

Over the years Orange knowledge Scholarship has prominent and philanthropic who have  been supporting, funding and managing the scholarship for years  they are: Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherland Government and managed by Nuffi.

Note: The orange knowledge scholarship programme can only accept applications from applicant from students whose  a national and working from the listed country ,all applicant is expected to visit Dutch education institution

  • Recommendation from your employer( please see OKP format)

There are 3 sections of application rounds for individual scholarships.

  • Round 1: 3 February-23 March 2021 (for courses starting between between 26 July and 21 November 2021)
  • Round 2: 12 May-29 June 2021 (for Short Courses starting between 22 November 2021 and 20 February 2022)
  • Round 3: 1 September-12 October 2021 (for Short Courses starting on or after 21 February 2022 and ending before 31 August 2022)
